Planning your wedding is an exciting time. Anything goes these days but whether you are a fan of traditional or want to be a bit more creative, it's important to do your research before you book your florist. it's a big deal so i just want to make things a bit easier by explaning what happens when you enquire with me..

The first step is to get in touch and enquire about availability. People are very on the ball these days and good suppliers get booked up at least a year in advance. It may seem way too early to think about your wedding flowers/book your florist but if you have found someone you'd like to work with then i recommend you don't delay. I have a wedding specific enquiry form which has a few questions.
It helps to have an idea of details, if you know them; including things like guest numbers, venue and budget (amongst other things!) - these just help me to make appropriate suggestions and saves us both a bit of time.

Think about how you want your wedding flowers to feel
Colour palette - I love to work with seasonal flowers and there is nothing quite like being told 'I trust you ~ do your thing' but a wee steer on colours is helpful.
Vibe - How do you want your flowers to feel? Relaxed, natural, loose, garden gathered, seasonal...
Seasonality - Flowers that are growing locally at the time of your wedding will be more interesting, scented, and will ground your wedding firmly in the season that you are married.
Budget - Have a think about what you want to spend on your wedding flowers before you get in touch. Think about where you would like your flowers and what is most important to you. Flowers can be repurposed throughout the day to make sure you get the most from your budget. Flowers are expensive so lets make them work hard for you!
Images - If you've been saving any inspiration pictures, i'd love to see them... Even better if they are mine!

What happens next?
Once i've checked availability, i'll always let you know either way. If i am available, we will set a date for a zoom call to chat things over.
Following our consultation call, I'll prepare your proposal. This includes the things we have chatted about including: a moodboard, types of flowers available, colour palette, potential arrangements and prices. I'll also recemmend how we can repurpose your arrangements on the day, so you can get the most value out of them.

I'll leave you for a week to mull it all over, during which time, you can get in touch with any questions. If you love it all and want to go ahead, you can secure the date by paying a 30% booking fee. If you love it but aren't quite decided on the arrangements you'd like yet, you can secure the date with a £300 booking fee and finalise the details at a later date.
Following this, you can relax and get on with other things! I'll be in touch around 8 weeks before your wedding to finalise the details. This will include confirming designs, numbers, set up time and delivery of bridal flowers.
Behind the scenes, i'll be sourcing the perfect flowers, ribbons, and vessels, and planning the best, most sustainable mechanics for your arrangements.
I'll be there on the day to deliver and set up your wedding flowers. If required, i can return the following day to collect equipment and take down installations. This will have been discussed with you previously.

I hope this helps a bit. Please don't hesitate to get in touch with any questions you might have..
